This class focuses on the fundamental skills required to make your mark in the competitive voice industry. With a maximum of 8 students per class, you will receive individual coaching tips from Jesse as well as the opportunity to work and learn alongside your peers in a professional studio environment. Each students will get plenty of time in studio on mic and also take home a recording of all the voiceover tracks created. With each class at a maximum of 8 students, classmates are guaranteed plenty of time to find their "voice". This Intensive runs Sunday August 30th, 10am-5pm. Register today to secure your spot!
Areas covered are:
* Animation/Cartoon voices (how to get the most of your voice) * Commercial VO Reads * How to make a great first impression at your audition * Improvisation -- finding that special voice that catches the producer's attention and gets you the gig! * Ambient background din and common scenes (sci-fi, hospital, military, restaurants, train stations, night clubs, school, etc.) * Recording solo * Pairs – two people in dialogue * Pairs/switch pairings mid scene
**Registrants receive a $100 discount on a voice over demo recording (regularly $550). Students also have the option of adding one on one coaching for their voice over demo for an additional $450 (regularly $550).
Born in Vancouver BC to a hippie-turned-child psychologist and a monk-turned-martial arts master, Jesse Inocalla got bit by the bug early when his father booked the role of Michelangelo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3. Jesse has studied under some of the top names in Vancouver. He learned voiceover from Fiona Hogan, Michael Dobson, and most recently has become a student of famed voiceover artist Rob Paulsen. He learned the craft of acting under the caring eye of the teachers at SchoolCreative: Gabrel Carter, Stellina Rusich, Henry J. Mah, Elaine Brewer-White, Trish Allen, Liz McLaughlin, and Kirsten Clarkson. Jesse has been working steadily as an actor and coach. His credits include over 15 main and supporting characters on "Yoohoo and Friends" from Toonzone Studios, and lead credits on LEGO's "Legends of Chima". He can currently be heard in the Legends of Chima 4D Movie playing at LegoLands worldwide.

Stephen Bulat and his staff at Mix Media have over 20 years experience in the areas of music production, audio, and video recording & editing, stereo mastering, voiceover, music sequencing, film scores, music arranging and original composition. Their audio and music production facilities include a finely tunes mixing room, as well as 3 live rooms that will capture your sound and make your project sound professional and of the finest quality.
