Solid acting, dark humour and existential conundrums inform this Staircase Theatre remount of five short plays by American writer Will Eno. Maryanne Renzetti and Brad Duffy are both terrific as they address an audience in solo and duo pieces that reveal all the thoughts that aren’t normally (and probably shouldn’t be) voiced in certain situations — for instance, in one piece, an airline representative addresses the tragedy of a downed plane: “We should be grateful for how long it was able to stay up in the air!” Worthwhile.
